What kind of car and where about in chicago you located. I'm in the suburbs. I can't say openly where I work, but can give you some more info privately. I've worked for both best buy and circuit in the past, and had a car published in last months car audio and electronics magazine. Lemme know.

They do good work

Will ABT install a avic d3 that you buy some place else? I still need to get my bluetooth and xm adapters also so I wonder if they will install the whole thing if I buy those two parts from them.

I go to Mobile Tel for my installation needs. Its on the corner of County Farm and Route 64 (North Ave) in West Chicago. They installed my Viper alarm and I have had no problems with them. Also, they are going to redo the entire sound system for my car too

Just a FYI ABT will NOT install a D3 that is not purchased from them. Called them today and got a lady which was actually quite rude about it. I was surprised because I always got good service thier in the past. Hopefully it was just a fluke. Anyway taking my business to circuit city.

It actually looks very easy. Check the hacks forum, they give good directions in thier. I think the hardest part will be getting into your dash to do it.
