Hi All: I am picking up my new Passat Wolfsburg lease next week and getting things together for installation of the Avic D3. I had a few questions before starting that I was hoping folks could answer...

1: Do i need a new sirius adapter like Pioneer SIR-PNR2 or can I use the satellite radion input that already exists in the car? WIll I need a new external antenna?

2. Will the CD-BTB200 bluetooth adapter allow me to use the phone button on the stearing wheel?

3. For wheel functions, I presume I need to get the PAC SWI interface..will this allow all wheel functions to work? Is taht the right one...

4. What is the best harness/indash mounting kit/antenna that I can use for the new body style Passat and does anyone know if a silver one exists to match the dash?

Hang in there folks, just a few more questions...

5. where does the gps antenna usually get mounted?

6. do folks usually get an extended warranty or have these units been running well for years??

If anyone has placed the avic d3 into a 2007 passat wolfsburg could you please send me the list of items you used for the entire installl. I will be taking it to best buy or circuit city and want to have everything ready so they don't charge me ridiculous prices for cheap products i can get online...

THANKS EVERYONE...HOPEFULLY WILL CONTINUE TO POST HERE....APPRECIATE EVERYONE'S RESPONSE
