Is there an adapter that will allow you to play video through an ipod through a Z-2? And if so, can you control it through the Z-2?

No, gotta run it in through the A/V input and control it from the ipod

The ipod A/V jack just uses non-standard wiring. I think Apple just did it to get people to spend an extra $19 for a stinking A/V cable.

Just connect a normal A/V (Red / White / Yellow) cable like this:

Red = Video

White = Right

Yellow = Left
