ive done some searches, but there were so many i started to get confused.

my D3 will be here tomorrow. i have the xm tuner here now

my truck is a 2003 silverado ss. with xm and on star

the D3 has the bypass done to it . i dont have the bluetooth adapter, yet.

when i get it i know i can sync it to my phone, but can i wire it in to use the built in mic that's over my head in the truck to the bluetooth adapter? it would rock if i can.. also do i need to use the mute wire for this type of hookup?

I am just as frustrated as you. You ever get resolution on this... I have onstar and wouldlike to use the mic w/ my 700bt.

 

I have a 2002 Saab 9-3 SE CNV... I see a lot of people talking about this but noone has ever done it to the best of my knowledge. And I have been scouring the forums for days now.
