I always wondered this, living in Illinois, and upgrading to cndv70 sparked my interest again. The 4 or 5 states that are on both the west and east coast disc's.. Is the information on both discs the same for those states? Even POI's? Or do they split the information? Anyone know the answer? Thanks in advance!

I went to Pioneer's web site and looked at the 2 disks that you buy for the update. If the pictures on the disk mean anything, the 2 disks clearly overlap in the center of the country.

10 states overlap in the middle. That means both disks have the same info for those ten states
