have you tried both of the disc? east and west? sounds like your dvds are to scratched to read

Yes, I have tried both. I've had the unit for 2 weeks, dvds are still mint.

IDK whats going on with your Map Discs, but if your disc with the pictures has any random files (mpegs, gifs, etc.) that the unit cannot read (or you have more than 20 pictures on the CD itself) then it will not read it. Try getting a cleaning disc?

If its only two weeks old, I would return it to wherever you got it for another one

If you (or somebody else) run into that problem again, try "downgrading" your firmware to the version that is on your original disks. I know you didn't update your firmware, but it will rewrite and reset everything.
