Hey guys!Just got a new D3 last Saturday, installed in my 07 Honda Ridgeline by some little car audio shops and went to some other shop to have it bypassed as well as having it hooked up to some JBL subs and powerbass speakers :D the sound is .. orgasmic i tell you oooo.. LOL.. . Anyway problem is, the day after I subscribed to XM Radio and the XM navtraffic, I'm getting the Navtraffic information and the channel information off the Radio but NO SOUND!!! aahh!! I mean, I am getting the channel information like Sports channel, the 70's, 80's.. etc etc. but no sound.. I wait and wait and wait (an hour was my longest) and still nothing. I have it hooked up to a P10XMT tuner, had signal refreshed several times.. waited those 20mins each time. Called XM - said have it checked by the installer.. had installer check - said have XM refresh signal... I have no clue what to do. HELP!

it sounds like the ip-bus cable is in the wrong spot, it has an in/out. i've seen alpines that do that.....get signal just no sound and it's the ai-net (din cable) that was in the wrong spot

hey thanks for the quick reply.. should i go back to the installer and have them do it or would it just be easier to do it myself?what does it look like? I'm assuming its labeled yea? lol i know stupid question but hey had to ask...

also, i went through my install booklet on my tuner and well surprise surprise it wasn't even opened by my installer.. still had the tape and everything so u can tell if it was opened or not. I looked through it and said to hit the reset button prior to starting it up the first time..if i did that would it matter?

If you can find your XM tuner, take the p-bus cable out of the hole its in and put it into the only other one that it fits in

I had the same problem and came to find out i had switched my ip bus cable. So try it, I'm 99% sure that is it.

Quick question, I noticed when I pulled my D3 out on one of the cables that was responsible for my speed aqcuisition, it wasn't hooked up to anything. However, when I check out my digital display on the D3 it shows up fine and accurately. Weird?

It's using the GPS Speed.
