Bad IC output, open ground?

can anyone tell me what this means

will the internal amp still work on the unit?

this is what a shop locally told me was wrong with it. they want 200 bucks to fix it. but if the internal amp still works i have someone that wants to buy it.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks

IC stands for integrated circuit. the shop said ic output which means that a microchip for the output went bad. it is a lot of work to replace meaning that they have to take off the chip with a solder gun and reconnect each pin on the chip to the correct hole on the board. below is a pic of the ic chip. the window in the center showing the white shows that it is a ic chip. are they 100% sure that its the ic output? check another audio store if u can? is the unit still under warranty? sorry for the bad news man! good luck on the situation.
