Sup fellas, new to the boards and an extreme neewb with car audio. I got my AVIC D2 installed by a friend who has a shop. I revently purchased the inerface cable and got some screen installed in the headrest. The problem I had at first was that I had my videos placed into the movie folder of my IPOD. I switched them to the "Music Videos" folder of my IPOD and then attempted to play them. When I did, the touch-screen didn't display the IPOD menu anymore and when I looked everything seemed ok b/c is still displayed PIONEER on the IPOD screen. When I unplugged it to reset it, the IPOD was frozen. I went ahed and plugged it to my lapo top to see if that fixed it, but it didn't. I had to wait for the battery to drain from my IPOD then I connected it again and it charged again. Do any of you guys know what the poblem might be??? What is the correct way to play vidoes from the IPOD to your AVIC D2? All help is appreciated

I have a D3, so I'm not quite sure what the problem is, but if your ipod freezes like that, you don't have to wait for the battery to drain. You can just hold down the menu and middle button to do a reset on the Ipod.
