My battery in my car is a little weak and i think that is the problem but I was just wondering if anyone else had exericed the unit not retiain prests for XM and AM/FM?

Make sure you have the constant wire hooked up properly

the unit rememebrs the angleof the screen but not the presets, but i will check the constant power wire

Weak ground, weak constant power, weak battery.
Could be any one, or a combination of.

does the XM receiver need to be hooked up to constant power?

bump - does the XM unit need to be hooked up to constant power for the headunit to keep memory?
