I used dvd -r and it won't play the movie. Do i need to use pluses or what is the deal. thanks!`

with my experience, the dvd-r's sometimes play..and they sometimes don't ...but normally, the N3 can play dvd+r's with no problem....but i can sometimes read dvd-r's also.

Some people forget to finalize the disc after recording. Even if you don't finalize the disc will still play in the recorder but will not play on any other one.. Finalize it and I'll bet will play...

Hey, I've been trying to play music videos that I burned on a dvd+r. I have finalized the disc and everything, but it still isn't working. What did you do to get the disc to play?? Thanks

Even though you finalized the dvd+r, it might be the way you burned it. If you burned it just as a normal file disc, it probably won't read. But if you burn it as like your creating your own dvd video where you just add the video's and can create your own menus and stuff like its an entire movie dvd, then that'll work....

Kind of hard to explain but it depends on what format you burned your DVD+R to.
