I need help...I am trying to eject the dvd and on the screen I get "MECHANICAL ERROR" I take a closer look at the slot and it looks like two vertical bars are in the way of the dvd ejecting, any idea??? Thanks in advance!!!

The unit will have to opened up. If there is any warranty left then send it in.

There are some very easily bent arms and such inside the unit so fixing it yourself can be frustrating if possible at all.

I have the same problem. If anyone has a fix, I would like to hear it too.

just wanted to check back and see if anyone has found a solution for this. Ive opend the unit and see no probles.
