I have done everything that I have read about. Moving the yellow and black wire to the lower outside position and grounding it. Also grounding the emergency brake wire. I downloaded the 30mb program and put in the drive. Hit the map button and NOTHING HAPPENS. Don't see a place to update before hitting the reset. I must be missing something but WHAT?? Help is you can.

Most likely you are putting the ISO file on a DATA CD. You want to use the ISO file to tell the CD burner to create a disk based on the information stored in the ISO file.... not put that ISO file on a CD. See the difference?

If the CD just has the ISO file on it, when you stick it in, the Avic won't know how to handle it and it doesn't do anything. Either that or your disk is bad and unreadable.

If you use Nero to burn CD's, click on RECORDER and then BURN IMAGE. If you use Img Burn (http://imgburn.com/) you want to select mode write, select the source ISO and then click on the little arrow to the CD image. There are dozens and dozens of burning programs and they all have different directions for creating a disk out of an ISO file.
