my fiance just suprized me with the audiovox backup camera. she got it at circuit city. it is a ccd. has anyone used this before? it has a waterproof microphone built in to it. anyone know if i can get the mic to work? i dont know what i would use it for but if i can i might as well take advantage of all the features.

your right. my borla exhaust would make it impossible to hear anything with the mic.

those cameras are great. i use them in the dealerships with the rear view mirror monitor. they got a huge wide angle, and work pretty well in the dark too

Yea audiovox also sells a "strap on" rearview mirror and camera. I chuckle everytime I walk by that in the store
