is there anyway to play dvd's on this unit?

and as far as the bypass mod...this mod is so you can use navi while going down the road? mine wont let me enter an address unless i'm stopped...thanks for all the help

You need to buy a DVD player if you want to watch DVDs on it.

The bypass is to enable all functions while in motion

so i just hook it up and run it to a preout? i cant put a dvd where the navi disc goes?

No, its not a DVD player so you can't put movies in it. You can buy a seperate DVD player and run it in through the A/V input though
