Hello, I also have searched & searched with not a clue what I'm doing. I have a 2006 Ram with a Avic D3, my installer used a speed pulse generator and my question is, the numbers never go back to zero, right now it is around 765,234 and climbs when driving, my thought was that it goes back to zero when idle, it does not seem to move with the speed, just motion, and I'm wondering if this would throw off my location on maps.

no, this does not do anything wierd to the maps, in fact that is what it is supposed to do. that count is showing how many pulses it has counted since the installation. so i would say everything (speed pulse wise) is working, and ENJOY!

Thanks Marc, The problem I'm having with the maps then is when I'm on highways moving around 70mph and I exit, the arrow will keep moving down previous interstate for about 3-5 seconds, then it will catch up, does that sound like a may have another issue to be looking for, or is this common with nav units, only seems to be when i'm moving at high speeds. Once again thanks for the previous reply.

my z1 and d3 did the same thing when using a pulse generator
