I've got an out of warranty D1 that's been having touch screen issues, so I was wondering if I can just buy a D3 and easily swap it in without having to mess with any new/ additional wiring. If I pull out my D1, will a D3 plug in to the existing wiring and antennas already installed in my car?

The antenna is the same. The other harnesses aren't the same but can be easily switched

As far as plug and play, the D3 has different size connectors. You'll need to recrimp/solder most of the wiring. It shouldn't be too bad considering the color schemes of the wires are the same.
