I know this is probably mentioned in the manual and I'm sorry for inquiring, but I'm trying to figure out how to set up auto dim on my 8000NEX where it automatically dims at night. I've searched the manual and can't find it. Thank you in advance.

I believe it auto dims when the headlights are one.

For whatever reason when I turn my headlights on, no change is made as far as brightness is concerned.

Colin83, go into settings and choose Picture Adjustment. Note the level of the Dimmer selection. Then, turn on your headlights. The number for Dimmer should now be lower. If it isn't, adjust accordingly.
