Hey...1st Post...... :mrgreen:

Ive just installed my 7000 which is sweet....But....

from the home screen when selecting the NAVI it will search for a few seconds then got back to the home screen??? It does this no matter how I try to go to Nav....(map button or NAVI).. If the warning screen comes up I hit OK and it will "think" a couple seconds and back to home screen

Im no expert but it looks like there is no map/nav installed into the software??

And yes Ive doubled and tripled the wiring...Thanks

Sounds like it's not properly grounded

I have it grounded to the radio harness ground. And I did the bypass from the AV screen

I played a movie last night on the way to a ballgame.......????

My guess would be a faulty GPS antenna. I'd think that it would present a message in that case, though. A couple of things to try before you go that route: (1) Disconnect the battery for a few minutes and reconnect - that resets most of the settings; (2) If that doesn't do it, you might try reinstalling the OS (1.08).

That's kinda my thoughts...if it was the antenna I would get some kind of error..I'm almost sure it's a software issue...but isn't the nav a different software than the new update or is it all in there?
