has anyone upgraded their app radio live app on iPhone to the latest version and see if it helps with all the iOS8 issues with app radio mode?  

I keep thinking if Pioneer is not going to support their apps to the latest version of iOS each year then might as well go with apple car play since that will update on the iPhone each year and hopefully is more future proof than app radio.
