the a/v inputs will be connected to my phone (going to see if that works) or dvd player, videogame console
so was looking for an alternate input for ipod
Use the CD-I200 to connect your ipod to your d3 via Ibus

I got mine from Best Buy. No programming, just plug it in and it works great.
If your phone has blue tooth, you can install the bluetooth module. It works great for handsfree and also media streaming.
i have a avic-d2
If you buy the Pioneer ipod adaptor, it won't use up your A/V inputs so you can use them for other things like you said. A/V bus is only for Pioneer tv tuners and dvd players
i want to control with my ipod
read so many reviews that the adapter on the d2 sucks
i was looking at this http://cgi.ebay.com/PXA02-Pioneer-radio ... dZViewItem
and the rca connect to my phone
wondering if when im playing the ipod and my phone rings or something i wonder if the audio will overlap?
my bad. get the ib100 for your d2
just need to know
if i use the ip-bus input is there a setting i need to turn on or anything like that on my avic-d2
If you use that thing from ebay you posted, yes you need to turn it on in the menu. If you use Pioneers, no you don't
