i tried using toast and i created a folder "PICTURES and it didnt work. anybody have any luck creating backgrounds with a mac?

yes. make sure your cd in toast, data file, "PICTURES" folder as the root, and all names in capital and no spaces, 20 top files, cdr must be at least 1.5mb for the unit to recognize.

I know this is a bit old, but for you guys who did not spend $100 on Toast, all you gotta do is drop the PICTURES folder into a blank cd, and burn it. I did not need any filler for my D3 at all.
Thats all I did, dropped the pictures onto the disk and told it to burn. they all uploaded fine
