iPod classic resume play (Avic-8000NEX)

Is there any way to get your iPod to resume play on the 8000NEX? Everytime I shut off my vehicle and the start the iPod it starts back on the first song in the A category. I'm using the CDIU201S plugged into USB 2 and the RGB port. My only complaint about the unit so far.

I had the same problem with my 30GB and 60GB iPods. I finally purchased a 7th generation 160GB, and it worked with that one. I think it has to be the newest generation. The older iPods worked, but didn't resume, like what you're describing.

Good to know. I have a newer one as well. I'll give it a try and see if that works. Thanks for the info.

EditorDZ That was it. Put 160gb iPod in and it's resuming from where I left off. Thanks so much that was driving me crazy.
