PIONEER CD-IU52 USB to Lightning Interface Cable

Just bought one of these cables. Its seems to be nothing more than a charging cable for my 940BT. I have no control of the IPhone6 thru the head unit. Am I missing something? I already have the most recent firmware from Pioneer.

I'm having similar issues with my x930bt. What Head unit are you using?

I recall an email from Pioneer saying that iOS8 was not supported for 940BT. I don't think Pioneer has released any updates to correct this. I've been keeping my 5S at iOS7 as a result to keep the limited functionality on my 940.

So probably all you will ever be able to do is charge your phone and use BT from this point on.

I called Pioneer this afternoon, apparantly I need to purchase the Pioneer CD-IV202NAVI kit ($50.00), and a Lightning to VGA adapter ($30.00 +/-) in order to get the full use of the APP radio back with the new IPhone6. Great, I get to spend even more money on it!

my 930 works fine with my 6 plus with all versions of iOS 8.X has worked fine on the 3.01 firmware and the 5.0 firmware i just upgraded to last week on the unit.

Only thing i purchased was the 30 pin to lighting adapter
