Difference between AVICD1 and AVICD2?

I'm thinking about getting one of these but I was just wondering if there is any difference between the two. The AVICD1 seems to be a little cheaper so if there is no difference I might just go with that.
Any help would be great.

Based on the specifications for both, there seems to be hardly any difference.

Moreover you can buy the latest discs (firmware and maps) that will update your D1 to a D2. I also have a D1 and did just that.

There is no difference except in the software
