I am Japanese.
I have the navigation "MRZ series" of Japan.

The model whom I have is "AVIC-MRZ99 "
It looks like " Z110BT" of an overseas version and "Z120BT".
However, even if TESTMODE.KEY is installed, it is not possible to use it.
"CAUTION - It is displayed as Test Mode Failed Starting Turn Off ACC "

i also own a MRZ99 Unit. I bricked mine, cuz i tried to replace PRG0 and PRG1 (And BOOT Folder <-- this bricked mine, to a Splash-Screen Bootloop   )

However, you can enter Test-Mode by holding the NAV Button (left japanese button in the middle) and pressing right --> left --> right --> left --> right --> left and then release the NAV Button.

Unit will restart in Testmode. But be careful!

What would the chances be of a member having some back up files of the PRG0  and PRG1 for any of the MRZ series on this forum?

Hola.. yo tengo ese problema en mi HRZ009g.... con el TEST_DISC realice la apertura del Hdd FLG.. y conecté por ide USB a mi notebook.. copie sus 4 particiones tal cual (total 12,5 Gb) del disco de 40 Gb TOSHIBA... 

Luego reemplacé solo una carpeta la PRG 0 completa.. por la Z3 APL y demas... 

Al insertar nuevamente en el 2din aparece inmediatamente ERROR DE SOFTWARE (en Japones) 

Eh intentado volver a conectar el hdd al notebook.. pero está bloqueado... asi es que eh intentado con MHDD.... Pero sin exito alguno...

Por favor, ayuda.

If anybody is still interested, here's a testmode key for the mrz99.

Unzip it and put TESTMODE.KEY in the root of an sd card or usb drive.

This gets you into technical mode so there are more settings than if you use the key combination.

AVIC MRZ99 - Does anyone have any ideas on how to release the front cover to access disc and SD slots. I press the eject button but the unit just beeps a few times and nothing happens. There is no disc in or card in at present.

I would like to try and mod the language as suggested but can't access the SD slot to get started.

Try keeping the eject button pressed for a few seconds. The testmode key will also work from USB.

I have the same model and I am using it in Bangladesh. Thanks to do for his testmode key and the language file. Both of them worked fine.

Is it possible to connect the unit with Internet? Does anyone have idea?

My mrz05 is not booting. The raku navi display comes up but then a black screen again the sign, its in a loop. can someone help

Hello there I just bought a AVIC MRZ 90-2 a few weeks ago was told that it was working ok, finally got around to installing and the start screen comes up then a blank white screen. I can get it in test mode.Can anyone one help. Here is a video of what it’s doing. Thank you.
