I am having troubles with hooking up my Verizon Motorazr Maxx-VE to my Avic Z2, does this phone work on this unit? I got the default passkey which is 1111, just in case others are wondering what the passkey is. Thanks.

Don't have the Moto you have, but I was having issues with my phone connecting and I called Pioneer. The guy at tech support said my phone wasn't supported. But then I paired my wife's phone and decided to retry mine and it paired! But it is pretty flaky in that sometimes everything is fine and other times I still have to pick up the handset to talk/hear. But so far, all the time it mutes the Z2 and shows that I have an incoming call when someone rings me.

So maybe try to pair another phone and then try yours.
