Just got the 4100nex installed on my Mercedes C300. Just wondering if it normal that whenever the unit is turned on, it asks to choose language and goes to a single start up page before getting to the warning sign.

Don't think so. Sounds like it's wired wrong.

Agreed. Check the Yellow wire, it needs to be powered at all times.
