I'm looking at purchasing a steeering wheel remote for the 4100nex since my car doesn't have steering wheel controls.  I know the cd-sr100 is compatible so my first question is whether it has a button to launch Siri.  If not, do you know if the cd-sr11 for the nav units or the Eurpoean version, the cd-sr110, will work with the 4100nex?  

The "Voice" steering wheel control function is what launches Siri, and the CD-SR11 has a Voice button.

I would really like the SR – 11/110 but can anyone confirm that it works with the 4100NEX?

I bought a Bluetooth Siri button for my 4000NEX. It worked great, kind pricey but it worked. Here is a link to it: ( I hope that thus isn't a violation of the forum)

Thanks for the link.  I may add that.  I ended up ordering the SR-100.  It arrives today and I install everything this weekend.

If you're like me, you'll find the infrared remote clumsy at best.

Installed the 4100 yesterday and decided to add the SR100.  It works perfectly with the radio.  No Siri button but controls volume and tracks.  I"m absolutely in love with the 4100 btw!

Just installed mine. Took exactly five minutes and was a snap. Works great, too! The only thing that bugs me is that the volume controls are on the back. Hoping I get used to it.

Still getting used to the remote as well but overall very good remote.
