Is it possible to update AVIC F60BT(India) with AVIC F60DAB? The reason I want to do this is Pioneer India wont release a firmware update for CarPlay, so I'm looking for alternatives. I'm not sure but I think hardware wise both models are the same. I'm not bothered with losing my local map content after the update, just want to get CarPlay working. Is there anyway of force updating?

Please keep us posted if you manage to get carplay working. I didn't expected this from pioneer after purchasing such high end head unit.
