(no replies to my previous post, but I am hoping someone can at least tell me what their experience is)

When my iPhone 6+ is linked to my NEX-8000 by Bluetooth, incoming calls only show the number, not the name.  Not an issue with last name only -- these contacts have full first and last name.

The phonebook is transferred properly from the phone and shows up on the NEX, it just doesn't look up the name for incoming calls.  Do I have something set wrong?

My reading of the manual says it should look up the numbers in the phonebook and show the names.

Check your contacts are on the nex without the phone being connected, that will tell you if they are transferred

Same here (with F77DAB). Pioneer EU pretends to be very suprised and blames Android, HTC etc.

This integration works fine with Android Auto, names are indeed stored in the Pioneer unit but still they do NOT show
