I went to get an aux cord plugged in and the installer said there is no 3.5 mm jack for Aux availability someone please help me.

Yes, the unit itself has no 3.5mm stereo input jack. Did you or your installer read the installation manual? See pg 17-18. AVIC-X920BT Installation ManualI went to get an aux cord plugged in and the installer said there is no 3.5 mm jack for Aux availability someone please help me.
Sounds like an incompetent installer. A professional should know how to do this. You need to use the AUX AV inputs. I use AV2. Buy the correct RCA-to-mini jack adapter dongle. Note that AV1 has a special optional dongle - don't plug an ordinary stereo plug into it.

Thank you so much, I think the guy really didn't want to do it because they wouldn't make much money off the install. I ended up doing it myself and setting it up like yours using AV2.
