Hello guys, this is my first post so hopefully we can help each other. I have a 7000nex and Ive been trying to update the map. I though i need it the NAVIEXTRA toolbox to do this. At lease this is what I think i need. I try to connect an SD card in my computer, it works perfectly well but the toolbox software does not recognize it. Does anyone have the free update to the US maps around here? or a better alternative to update this software?

You must first connect your sd card or usb drive to the unit and run synctool from the navigation settings menu. This will format the memory card/usb drive and toolbox will recognise the device and offer any free updates you are entitled to. If available you will be prompted to download to your card following which you'll need to plug it into the radio and run synctool again to apply the update(s)
There no new update since 2014 right?
2015 Q1 is the latest

OK I had an update from when I first bought it. The 2015 update isn't free.
