Hi

 

I just bought a used unit, all was good while installing everything in my Octavia 2 2005.

 

When I power up the radio I get only a black screen saying E0000012 - no logos, no nothing. Bottoms are also dead, but lid.

 

I have no SD card for the unit. I have not tried to update firmware yet.

The seller has not used a SD Card for anything else than MP3 files - so no importer files should remain at the card - the unit should boot fine without the card I guess?

 

Can anybody help me understand the error code - and how can I fix it?

Btw. can I update the firmware even though the unit is in fail-mode?

Turned out that this was a bad mainboard and that it had to be change by Pioneer. Not covered by guarantee because Pioneer only supply 1 year warranty for navigation units
