I'm looking to purchase the D-3, however I can’t find any documentation whether or not it has dual zone capability like the Alpine W-205. Ex: Front Music, while playing DVD's in the Rear. Can someone help me out, because this is a big determining factor in my purchase? Can someone tell me how the GPS works (Not Literally, but is it any good or quirky?) Any info would be greatly appreciated because the local sound shops don’t have them installed on display properly to get any answers and no seems to know?

No dual zone. As far as the gps quality, there are some on here that claim that it will take you 100 miles out of your way to a destination. I havnt seen any issues like that on my system and ive used the hell out of the thing. There are only about 4 people on here that claim this but I think the majority of users are not having this problem. Check below for the thread on their issue:

If you are looking for dual zone, you might want to look at the Z2 or N4. I have no issues with the nav either...I think it depends on where you travel and how well TeleAtlas has covered that area

For me...No. But thats because I don't play movies in the car, and almost always listen to my ipod or sat radio so I don't need the music storage. For others, yes
