Ok, last problem i had was connecting my treo 700p to my d3, the way to work that was to try over and over and over to connect, somehow it did...
new problem...
now that its connected i cant get it to work properly, when i call or get called i dont hear people all i hear is low static, they hear me tho (apparenlty poorly tho). Is this a setting that needs changing, becuase i have a treo, or poor wiring?
Do you have the P-bus cable in the correct hole on the bluetooth adaptor?

but is there supposed to be a ip-bus connected to both the XM unit and the HU

They go in a chain. Take it back to whoever did if for you and ask them to do it right
ok i see what your saying, i decided to open my carpet myself and turns out my installer conected ip-bus in instead of out
