I know these are quite a few years apart so I was hoping someone could tell me if they would just be a straight swap or if they have different plugs and I'll need a new interface (or anything else)?  

 

Nothing fancy in my truck, 2003 Chevy Avalanche, no factory amp, no bose, no Onstar, no steering wheel controls.  I do have an after market amp for my subs but that's it.
