I have an Avic Z2 that has been upgraded to Z3 with larger drive. Also has all options as far as I know. BT, XM, iPod adapter, etc.

It recently started slipping trying to tilt the screen which I realize is the plastic gear and can be repaired by pinning or sending off for $90-$120.

I am just thinking about upgrading to something different instead of having it repaired.  Is there a market for these things still?  Works great (except tilt) and is installed in a  garage queen with low usage so condition is excellent.

It seems to be worth getting fixed if you are still getting use out of it. The only thing I've read is that there won't be any updated maps.

I am ready for an upgrade. Just was not sure it it was worth getting fixed and selling or not.
