do i need to connect the pink and purple wire on the brain? because the navigation only work when i make turns but it doesn't move when i drive

also is there any way to turn off the day/evening/night dimmer so it'll stay bright?

from my understanding, the reverse and vss arent necessites to be hooked up. the reverse is mainly for a reverse camera and the vss helps w/ the signal. i dont have my vss hooked up on mine and it works just fine. mine is an n1 btw.

I found a big-time difference in accuracy with VSS hooked up. Much more accurate.

With the reverse and vss connected on my N3, the navi is dead on when I make turns or back up. I now know what I truly was missing in my old truck with no vss!
