First off, I get disgusted to see people on eBay trying to profit from the work of others..... I would understand if the creator decides to charge (would gladly buy to support the work). While it would be easy to buy it online, I feel like I am condoning such behavior. (Enough ranting - no offense to anyone)

Anyway, I am running software version 5, Bluetooth 3.32 on my z130bt.  I read the posts about updates but cannot find the sticky/pinned thread for updating to 2015 maps, version 6 software.

Could someone please make a sticky or point me in the right direction? I see multiple/broken links when I click on them and I got lost reading all the threads.

If not, let me know where to go and I will post the clean and simple way to update it and make it easy for anyone who is member of this group. BTW, glad to see this forum is alive and kicking.

As usual, you are always to the rescue. Thanks!  I will try your instructions for my z130BT later on.

BTW, there is no need to use a text editor and change any of the CardInfo.CIF file, right?

not for the Z130/z140.

If you have iPhone or BT problems after the update, do a hard reset by disconnecting the car battery for 30 seconds
