i know i need to connect the purple/white wire to the reverse bulb out put but i sold my previous car and left the wire with the diode in it

does anyone know the value of the diode so i can run a new wire to the revers light in my new car

nobby normaly any diode will do. it will even work without a diode. i checked mine and there's no diode fitted
