In Android auto / Google maps is there anyway to save locations and label them?

I know in maps on the 8100 you can but would like to do this in aa

Maybe make a new contact list in your Google account, and use that list solely for these locations?  Then you can just say "Navigate to..." whatever you saved in this contact from AA

ok thanks might give this a shot .,
