try press and hold, it have dual mode that is what i have setup on my maestro

It may also depend on if you have a steering wheel module between your controls and the head unit. I have an older Axxiss ASWC-1 (that I recycled from a prior installation). As far as I can tell, it just cycles the channels from my pre-sets. Press-and-hold, just cycles them faster
