I have a 4200nex that has issues with my ipod (or any apple device). when using either ipod 1 or 2 (not carplay), if you go to search an artist, lets say KISS, it will list all there albums. the problem is no matter what album you click on, it always displays the songs from whatever album is the first one listed. also the song counts on the screen are wrong. so if you have 10,000 songs, it may say playing 1/8829. Ive seen this happen on three units so i know its not just mine. I think its a database issue, but not sure. I called Pioneer, but of course its the  first they've heard of it. Any help is appreciated.

For what it's worth, I have the exact same issue.  It appears to be more of a problem the more albums you have for a specific artist.  Wish I knew the answer, because it's really annoying.  I do get the correct song list if I search by album instead of artist (then album).
