Can anyone please help me with connecting the following?

 

AVIC-D3 into 2002 Nissan Maxima GLE w/ factory BOSE

 

1. Illumination wire for day/night (orange/white)

2. VSS or Car Speed Signal Input (pink)

3. Reversegear Signal Input (violet/white)

 

My "professional" installer did not know how to do this part. Thankfully he just left them alone instead of messing it up by guessing.

P.S. - I did the bypass and it worked great!! D3=well worth the money!!

This for a 2000 Maxima. I'm not sure if it's the same for a 2002.

 

1. The VSS wire is on the back of the instrument cluster. It is the pink and blue striped wire on the middle plug.

2. The reverse wire is either of the non grounded wires going to the back up lights.

3. The illumination wire is the orange wire on the original harness.
