i have a D2 installed in a semi. my friendly neighborhood rim shop mexican installed a toggle switch for the parking brake lead, but could not really explain it's use too much to me due to a language barrier. at what point should i be throwing the switch on? when i switch it on while i'm moving, all options in the nav menu come on, then grey back out after 5 seconds. what am i doing wrong? also, does anyone have any ideas on modifying the software so it knows to keep my vehicle off of side streets that do not allow for semis? i know that's a stretch, but if it were possible for me to get in and play around with the software and burn a new map disc, it would make this D2 even more useful to me, considering what i'm driving around in. thanks to all.

They probably didn't know that you have to put a wire into the open hole in the wiring harness and then ground that wire

usally we hide that switsh for cops.....and if you ever have an accident ,inssurence will be a pain in the ass!!
