Where can I get the latest firmware? I currently have 1.01. Do you have to purchase the Maps to get the firmware? I looked on then Naviextra web site and can not find any firmware offered.

Goto http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/GPS-Navigation/AVIC-8100NEX
then click on the 'FIRMWARE & SOFTWARE' menu item on the left side.
