When do you think pioneer will come out with the d4? What do you think it will have that the d3 doesnt what will be improved?

i dont wanna buy a d3 now and then have pioneer come out with a d4 few months later.

Pioneer usually ships their new navs in March or April. Details on features probably won't be known until the end of the year or January when they introduce it at CES
