That almost looks too good to be true. Based on my experience with electronics, margins are typically around 50%, which means $1370 would be a loss for that retailer.

Let us know if you decide to do it though, that could be a good resource for board members.

Your post got me thinking, so I spent a little more time researching that retailer, and here is what I found. Start by reading these reviews, and pay particular attention to the one by PeterGould, he has some really good info.

This is definitely a case of if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.

I tried to order a digital camera from these morons a few years ago. I had exactly the same experience as all the posters on reseller ratings. I came close to driving up to new york myself to shove my foot up this guys... LOL He called me an idiot on the phone too after I started asking questions about their dubious policies.

I'm amazed they're still doing business after this many years. You'd think the attorney general would have shut them down.

Maybe we should have a forum (or at least a thread) for listing good and bad vendors?
