Ok people I have been looking for several ways to fix my Avid D-2 and so far no luck. I am new here so I am still lost on hopw all this works. Ok so I bought an Avid d-2 and some guy installed it for me adn now for some weird reason the navi is compleately off, i cannot see the time or even change the time and cannot play any dvd.Any one have solutions.By the way I drive a F-150 that is standard but he said he wired the parking break to the ground and so for the camera.

First off, the D2 doesn't play DVDs. Second, he needs to either wire the parking brake wire to the parking brake, or do the bypass... Grounding it alone will not help you. Instructions on a bypass can be found using the search button
